Paolo Intini, owner of Intini Trulli d’argento, designs and creates necklaces and jewelry in silver, gold and natural stones, with the collaboration of his wife Giusi, who coordinates the work in the laboratory located in Noci. The highlight of the collection is the reproduction of trulli and symbols in gold and silver, also in pendant version, full of meanings, art and culture, made unique by the hands of those who create them. The shop, located in the Monti district, offers the emotion of being able to admire, also, the unique pieces, born from the creative flair of Giusi, in a historical landscape context that only the most suggestive part of Alberobello, the capital of trulli, can offer.
THE STORY
The passion for precious stones involves Paolo Intini since 1978 when, in Milan, with his brother Francesco, he begins to deal with natural stones (lapis lazuli, pearls, corals etc.). In 1986, with his other brother Giovanni, he decides to set up a wholesale business of semi-precious stones in Alberobello: it is the premise for the start of the first point of sale. We are at the end of the eighties: in the heart of Alberobello is born the first shop of hard stones and jewelry linked to the symbolism of trulli and local tradition. The quality and beauty of the artifacts soon meet the taste of Italian and foreign visitors, a success that induces Paolo to set up another point of sale on the most suggestive climb of Alberobello’s Monti district. We are in 1993. Today the point of sale on Monte S. Michele street is a reference for occasional tourists and periodic visitors to the Capital of trulli, a treasure chest of elegance and suggestions in a unique scenario in the world.
